We are hosting the first event for the Japanese craft artist Masashi Ifuji in collaboration with Shiori which is a serene space of authentic Japanese restaurant in Berlin until 25th of November.
Hereby we are glad to announce the photo report of the opening reception on 22th of October.

During the event, you can take a precious opportunity to experience Ifuji’s "Square Tray" which is designed especially for Shiori's course menu.
We are also holding his first ever exhibition in Germany and the artworks are available for purchase.

Masashi Ifuji is a craft artist based in Matsumoto, Nagano. He specialises in crafting simple but functional wooden objects such as his masterpiece, the "Oval Box".
In 2009, he opened the shop "LABORATORIO" in Matsumoto, that consists of cafe and a gallery, offering exclusive ways for living.
Shiori was founded in June 2016 by chef Shiori Arai and his partner Flora Choi with aim of creating a unique space for authentic Japanese eating experience in Berlin Mitte.
Every night at 19:30 sharp, 10 diners are seated around a bar and then served Omakase that's highly seasonal and focuses on regional produce wherever it makes sense.
The result is an intimate and refreshing dining experience that notoriously creating bonds between diners and host which is from philosophy of Japanese tea ceremony.
