We are very proud to host the first event for the Japanese craft artist Masashi Ifuji in collaboration with Shiori Arai - owner of the Japanese restaurant "Shiori" in Berlin.
Ifuji designed the "Square Tray", especially for Shiori's course menu. Please come experience exclusive dinner course with the beautiful craft works.
During the event, we are also holding a special exhibition of Ifuji, showing his masterpieces such as the "Oval Box". ( The artworks are available for purchase. )
We hope you can take this opportunity to visit us for his first ever exhibition in Germany.

MASASHI IFUJI
Wood Artisan / Nagano, JAPAN
Masashi Ifuji is a craft artist based in Matsumoto, Nagano. He specialises in crafting simple but functional wooden objects such as his masterpiece, the "Oval Box".
In 2009, he opened the shop "LABORATORIO" in Matsumoto, that consists of cafe and a gallery, offering exclusive ways for living.
SHIORI
Japanese restaurant / Berlin, GERMANY
Shiori was founded in June 2016 by chef Shiori Arai and his partner Flora Choi with aim of creating a unique space for authentic Japanese eating experience in Berlin Mitte.
Every night at 19:30 sharp, 10 diners are seated around a bar and then served Omakase that's highly seasonal and focuses on regional produce wherever it makes sense.
The result is an intimate and refreshing dining experience that notoriously creating bonds between diners and host which is from philosophy of Japanese tea ceremony.
